Improv Workshopportunities in Winnipeg (and more!)

by RobYn on August 7, 2015

After taking the summer off from producing and performing, we here at the offices of Out, Side & Joke are busy as beavers planning our 2015/2016 season, in partnership with the Gas Station Arts Centre. We have our dates booked, our line-up of guests confirmed, and we are thiiiiiiiisclose to announcing it!

There are some VERY exciting things happening in Winnipeg! A new comedy festival is launching in just a few weeks  – Oddblock! Winnipeg’s Comedy Block Party – with 40+ comedians! The Winnipeg iF… Improv Festival is happening in September, so keep your eyes peeled (ew) for information about cool guests and cool shows (and hopefully some cool weather. AMIRIGHT, 34 DEGREES WITH THE HUMIDEX?? Up top.)

There are also some brand new workshops starting up in September, with our own RobYn Slade at the instructor’s helm!

The Drop-in Improv Class // Sundays 2 – 4PM // $5!

The Drop-in is a light, fun class for the green, seasoned, or rusty improviser … All skill levels are welcome – just drop-in!

*Please note, there will be no class October 1st, running until Thursday, October 29th, 2015 due to the Winnipeg iF… Improv Festival. You will have some cool homework, though.
